Custom composed for a special occasion concert at the Music School in Lund (Sweden), to be played this one time (and then no more ever) by the composer, and fellow musician Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson (later Einarsson). The score is not published, and will never be either. It only exists on a tape, recorded at the premier performance at the Concert Hall at the Musical School in Lund, 15/12 1983.

By a request from the brilliant guitar player Fredrik Hast, this score was scored. It is rather impossible to play (some parts of it can maybe be played, but to play the whole composition on one guitar with normal hands: WOW you are a bastard!!

Composed the 25th of December 1984 as a protest!! Too many of the composers of today abuse this fabulous instrument by raping it, constructing violent sounds, using xylophone mallets, and by all means do and create terrible acts to be executed on one of the most tender sounds in musical life!! This was (and still is!!) my version of the true marimba sound.

The address who gave birth to the Spex Society of Lund (SOL).The composition describes a promenade from Örnvägen 52 to the bus station an early morning in December 1984. SOL:s first meeting had just taken place, and board members Morten Hemmingsson, Hugo Tullberg, Karolina Splinter & P.W. celebrating Christmas flippery with some serious dancing around the Christmas tree at the traffic center beside the Polhem School. Flipp is hipp!!

Created to a concert, especially executed in honour of the composer Karl-Erik Welin. This version will never be performed again (the score do not exist any more), it flew once and never again.
